30 Firefighter Personnel Extinguish Fire in Penggilingan

As many as 30 personnel of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire burned three shophouses at Perkampungan Industri Kecil (PIK) Penggilingan, RT 08/10, Penggilingan Urban Village, Cakung Sub-district.

He added that the fire which was thought to have been triggered by an electrical short circuit, quickly spread because the shophouse was used as a warehouse for storing and selling clothes.
"Local residents also tried to put off the fire, but it didn't work since the fire got bigger," he added.
The fire was extinguished in one hour. There is no victim caused by this incident.
"Now the case is being handled by Cakung Sector Police," he continued.
Meanwhile, Penggilingan Urban Village Secretary, Priyati Fakhi, explained the shophouse was still close during the fire.
